WEST MILFORD NEWCOMERS CLUB NEWSLETTER

June 2006

PRESIDENT: Annette O'Mahoney

EDITOR: Merrilee McKittrick

PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE:  It has been my pleasure being the President of your Club for the last year. As our Club year draws to a close and we look forward to summer fun, I will always cherish the close friendships I have made through the Newcomers Club. There are many happy memories from this year that I will hold dear...Field Trips for Tots visiting the farm and riding “Rocky” the pony…Tots splashing with joy at Spa 23…and kids running wild at Chuck E. Cheeses. We had several very wonderful Ladies Night Out excursions this year with my favorite being the perfect outside evening at the Emerald Point Inn. I wish the incoming Board the best of times next year as they plan the special events and celebrations of the Newcomers Club 20th Anniversary!
                         Yours in Friendship,
                         Annette O'Mahoney, President

JUNE MEETING – LET’S PLAY BUNCO AND EAT ICE CREAM!! Put on your game face and join your friends for a fun way to end our Newcomers Club year. A lively round of Bunco is planned and to beat the heat of this fast-paced game, we’ll do the unthinkable and enjoy an ice cream social in the morning! If you want to play Bunco, bring $5 to play with. We will draw prizes from this pot!

Join us for this last meeting of the Club year on Tuesday, June 13th, with coffee available and time for socializing at 9:30 a.m. and the meeting beginning at 10 a.m. On site babysitting is provided at the cost of $5 per family.

RAFFLE: The June meeting is your last chance to purchase raffle tickets for the beautiful pieces of custom costume jewelry that Renee Weiss has graciously donated to the Newcomers Club. The raffle tickets cost $3.00 each or 2/$5.00 and the winners will be pulled at this coming meeting.

The pieces are:
1. German Circa 1940’s Citrine crystal and gold-tone Lavalier necklace with a beautiful clasp.
2. “Fleur de Lis” brooch signed “BSK” circa 1950’s gold-tone and jet glass insert.
3. Cloisonne’ yellow enamel colorful linked bracelet, circa 1950’s.
